Evidence!

Yes, we finally have actual truth behind our johnny-come-lately “We’re recording and not playing gigs” tale! Check em out on the media page, along with this snappy solo acoustic version of “The Road” by Hot Sex John Blanton, who is always himself onstage, just wants to have fun, and works really hard.

And also some footage courtesy of Dance Hall Media, featuring visualista Justin Wood throwing down some live improvisational projections to the first Japan on the Moon DJ set in nearly a year by Jay Cowit back in early June.

Cabinfest V: Alive!

Cabinfest V: Alive! is just around the corner and is shaping up to be the most exciting Cabinfest ever! Taking place at a beautiful Cabin in the mountainous region of Andes, NY, be prepared for 3 nights of beautiful scenery and amazing music. Even better, the price of admission gives you access to a bottomless pit of beer. So come one, come all, and we promise that Cabinfest V: Alive! will make your summer.

Firsts, Lasts, and everything in between!

Our final show until Cabinfest V: Alive! takes place on Friday May 30th (Midnight-2am) at the legendary Knitting Factory, presented by Rocksoff Productions. For those of you who don’t know, WBT played it’s first NYC gig at the Knit in 2003, and it’s been an extremly special place to us for many gigs since then. Who can forget the 30 minute Boer from December 2004 with help from Uncle Billy’s Smokehouse? Or the late night Ween covers with our friends Softhammer Percussion? Mark Wise returning to the stage for one night to slam out Five Gorillas? Or the debut of such staples as Traveler’s Song, The Pledge, Guttenberg, Are You Here for the Cars, Halo, and Felatio Nelson? Suffice to say, there’s a little history here, so we plan on making this show one to remember as well.

Please come celebrate this 5 year love affair with a late night rager, complete with lots of debuts from our new album, which is about 50% done! Justin Wood will continue to provide live improvised projections for the stage, and who knows…maybe we’ll even see the Iguana again before we give it the summer off:)

IF THAT’S NOT INCENTIVE ENOUGH, you can buy discounted Cabinfest V: Alive! tickets (regular: $50) for ONE NIGHT ONLY at the Knit, for a special bargain price of $35.

All the info is below; don’t miss the last Wounded Buffalo Theory show until late August!
